Square Enix: Many Ads In 2022 Promised By Triangle Strategy Team

Square Enix is already focusing on 2022 and it seems that many surprises will also come from the team in charge of Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strategy. During an interview with the Japanese portal 4Gamer, Tomoya Asano and Masashi Takahashi gave clues about their plans for the new year.

In addition to confirming that Triangle Strategy will arrive in March 2022 on Nintendo Switch, the two producers have pointed out that in 2022 will fall the tenth anniversary of the Bravely Default series, without going into more detail on the issue. Both Asano and Takahashi, however, have clearly suggested that several announcements from their team are in the pipeline and that, indeed, ” 2022 could be their biggest vintage.”

The two members of Square Enix did not explain precisely the nature of the possible announcements coming in next year, however it is not to exclude a possible new project related to Bravely Default given its tenth anniversary. And if a follow-up of Octopath Traveler might not be impossible (then Octopath Traveler sold over 2 and a half million copies), that a further project that is completely unpublished can also be in progress?
