Silent Hill: The Remake Fanmade In Unreal Engine 5 In 4 Minutes Gameplay

The numerous voices that would like to get a remake or reboot of Silent Hill on PS5 have not yet found official feedback, and while we are looking forward to a speech from Konami here is that a group of developers

Codeless Studio – this is the name under which the passionate developers of the series gather – has published a video gameplay of over 4 minutes with which we can admire the remake attempt of the first chapter of the Silent Hill series.

The results obtained through the Unreal Engine 5 are really appreciated, and it is equally noteworthy that the use of modern technologies has not at all distorted the dark and rarefied atmosphere of the original work. The mysterious fog is still there to conceal the farthest buildings and to keep us in the dark of what we might encounter when visiting the city of Silent Hill, and the renewed lighting system transmits an even more claustrophobic perception in the interior The fixed contextual shots and industrial soundtrack only strengthen the familiar feelings towards the horror game originally released in 1999 on PlayStation.

Unfortunately, the movie ends without showing the first action sequence, but it is possible that Codeless Studio will have more to show in the future. What do you think of the work done by developers? Meanwhile, Guillermo del Toro confirmed he wasn’t working on a new Silent Hill.
