Red Dead Redemption 3 Does Not Exist: Leaks Resulting From An Error

Tell the truth, you had hoped. Unfortunately, the rumors about the existence of Red Dead Redemption 3, which began to circulate last week, proved unfounded.

On November 15, someone noticed the presence of an explicit reference to Red Dead Redemption 3 on the LinkedIn profile of Simon Parr, one of the developers of Rockstar Games. Among other things, Lead AI PRogrammer claimed to have gained “two years of experience leading the team responsible for AI during the development of RDR3 and other projects”. The mention to RDR3 has predictably made the antennas to the entire gaming people, who in those days witnessed the unfortunate launch of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

Apparently, as the most suspicious had already imagined, it was a very common typo. Parr, after witnessing the commotion he himself generated, has corrected the error on his profile, specifying that he referred to RDR2, and not to the third chapter.

Of course, this does not exclude the possibility that the game is taking shape in secret at Rockstar Games studios. After all, it is one of the most successful franchises in the company. At the moment, however, we can say that there is no evidence of Red Dead Redemption 3.
