God Of War Pc: Supporting Ultrawide Monitors Was Very Difficult, That’s Why

Just a few hours after the publication of God of War’s UltraWide trailer for PC, the development team has released interesting information about the difficulties encountered in implementing this functionality in the re-edition of the game Santa Monica Studio.

In fact, during an interview with PCGamer’s microphones, the lead UX designer Mila Pavlin discussed the enormous complexity of the obligation to include 21:9 monitor support in the game. Who has already experienced Kratos and Atreus’ adventure on PlayStation 4 (or PlayStation 5 thanks to the free upgrade released by Sony a few months ago), the game is just a one-stop-story sequence. This particular is a serious complication for those who need to adapt the view behind them for such a different resolution, since they risk framing uncomfortable elements or encounter other problems that ruin the player’s experience. Pavlin made some examples, explaining how in some cases he would expand the shot to show the model of Atreus that teleported to make it reach a place for the next interaction.

In short, it was not a simple task but in the end the result obtained paid off the development team. In this regard, please note that on our pages you can find God of War’s review on PC.
