Esl Reveals 2022 Plans For The Cs:Go Women’s Championships: More Events And Prize Pools

The competitive scene of Counter Strike: Global Offensive, famous FPS title of Valve, is enriched with competitions and prize pools also for the female circuit thanks to ESL. With a recent announcement, the organisation has revealed plans for 2022 under the #GGFORALL initiative.

This is a huge step forward in the female competitive scene, with the aim of integrating a new system of talent development, greater sustainability, inclusiveness and opportunities for all CS:GO fans. The circuit will start in 2022, as you can see at the bottom of the news, with the online championship between March and June divided between the EU and NA regions. The finals of this competition will be held at DreamHack Dallas between 3 and 5 June, followed by a summer event on July 1-3 at DreamHack Valencia.

The championship will resume in August and will last until October, will also be held online and will be divided in the same way in the European and North American regions. The finals of this Split will be held at DreamHack Winter between 25 and 27 November. To each final of the championship will be added a team of South America and Asia-Pacific region, which will win the place through a qualifying phase open to all.

For all women’s teams, ESL and ESEA are also working together to introduce the Cash Cups from January to December 2022: they will be held twice a month and will have a prize pool of 4,000 dollars divided between the different regions. The whole circuit will count on a prize pool of as many as 500,000 Dollars.
