Epic Games Store: Gain Forecasts Have Been Changed In Negative

On the net, an official financial report of Epic Games Store was published, which allows you to see how the company has re-touched the forecast of future earnings down.

The document, which refers to a meeting of the company in June 2020, allows to note that over time there has been a clear decrease in the forecasts for the collections.

Here are the changes made by Fortnite’s creators to the forecast:

2019: from 213 million to 233 million

from 213 million to 233 million 2020: from 401 million to 358 million

from 401 million to 358 million 2021: from 547 million to 574 million

from 547 million to 574 million 2022: from 744 million to 658 million

from 744 million to 658 million 2023: from 1004 million to 748 million

from 1004 million to 748 million 2024: from 1177 million to 838 million

As you can see, already from the current year we see a slight decrease in the figure that is expected to gain compared to the old expectations. This gap is increasing steadily until 2024, suggesting that the company’s initial plans, according to which within a few years it would start generating revenue as a result of the large investments that have allowed it to create a store and distribute games weekly for free, will not be respected.

Meanwhile, however, the tradition of free games continues and Godfall Challenger Edition will be free on Epic Games Store next Thursday.
