Elden Ring: Codes For Network Test Sold At Crazy Prices

All players eager to try with hand the new action-RPG of FromSoftware and Hidetaka Miyazaki are in hope of receiving their own code of participation in the Network Test of Elden Ring that will be held from 12

The codes will be sent to Western users starting tomorrow, but Asian players have already started receiving their invitations from FromSoftware today. Unbelievable that it may seem, the first thought of some of these users was to put the codes on Yahoo immediately on sale! Auctions (eBay-like platform active only in the East) at exorbitant prices. The highest figure currently recorded is 10,000 yen, equivalent to around 76 euros.

This is a whole action that runs counter to the terms of use outlined by FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment, which clearly specify how “it is forbidden to sell or resell the invitation code or data Anyone who is caught violating the contract rules will have his chance to participate in the test revoked. Consequently, even purchasing the code in the second hand, it may be impossible to access the game session. We will see if in the next few hours an official comment from FromSoftware will arrive that, as said, it will send more invitations to Western players from tomorrow, with the risk that the situation may also appear in our parts.
