Dragon Age Inquisition: The Spectacular Fan Remake In Unreal Engine 5

While we await news about the future of Dragon Age we can console ourselves with Dragon Age Inquisition’s fan remake made with the Unreal Engine 5 by a passionate player of the series. The result? Definitely interesting.

Dragon Age Inquisition was released in 2014 as a cross-gen project based on the Frostbite Engine of DICE, the will then to rebuild the game in Unreal Engine 5 is certainly commendable. At the moment the developers have reproduced only the area called The Crow Fens, we do not know how far the team will go considering that the project will hardly be completed not only for the numerous technical challenges but also for copyright issues.

It is true that this fan remake does not help us understand what the next game of the series will look like since Dragon Age 4 will most likely use the Frostbite engine and not the Unreal Engine 5. We can consider the work a “simple” exercise of style perhaps end in itself but certainly pleasant to see.
