Avalanche Studios: The New Game Will Not Be A Sequel To Driveclub, Onrush Or Motorstorm

The recent statements by DriveClub’s dad about the reveal of his new game in 2022 have fueled the hopes of fans for the possible development of the sequel (spiritual or “canonic”) of the exclusive racing game PlayStation. With a new social media post, Paul Rustchynsky then decides to clarify.

In addressing his many followers who were eagerly waiting for the announcement of the return of DriveClub or IP like MotorStorm and Onrush, the former director of the now closed Evolution Studios explains that “to set the right expectations, I’m sorry, but it’s not about the sequel to DriveClub, the successor to MotorStorm, or a new version of Onrush. It will be a very different project from any other title I have ever worked on in the past.”

The new video game signed by Rustchynsky and the subsidiary UK of Avalanche Studios will therefore be a very different title from the previous works signed by the former director of the Evolution studies. The absence of racing elements in the new title in development at Avalanche Studios Liverpool, moreover, seems to exclude also the hypothesis of a new chapter of Just Cause (as well as of RAGE) or, however, of an open project w And what do you think about that?
